The Highfield Festival stands for a clear musical attitude: guitars, attitude and a strong sense of what moves current pop, indie, rock and hip-hop culture. The history of the Highfield Festival

The Highfield Festival can look back on a long and steady success story. Launched at the end of the 1990s, it quickly became an integral part of the German festival landscape. The name comes from its original home in Hohenfelden, before the festival found its new home on Lake Störmthal near Leipzig in 2010.
The move also changed the character of Highfield: a scene festival became one of the most important indie and rock festivals in eastern Germany - with a unique location right on the water. Despite further development and a growing audience, Highfield has remained true to its roots: Music with attitude, closeness to the fans and an atmosphere that perfectly combines festival and summer feeling.
