A club with history
The Hamburger Sport-Verein, or HSV for short, is one of the most important traditional German clubs. The founding date of the largest Hamburg club is September 29, 1887, making the club one of the oldest clubs in the country.
In recent decades, the HSV, whose professional team is also known as the Rothosen, has been one of the most successful clubs in Germany and even Europe, and with its more than 100,000 club members, is still one of the established and most important forces in German football.
The past season
