A club with a history

Bayer 04 Leverkusen stands for attractive top-class soccer, both nationally and internationally. Since the Bundesliga promotion in 1979 and the first European Cup qualification six years later, the Werkself has been a permanent fixture in European soccer. With over 40 years in the top flight, the club consistently represents the highest sporting quality. Today, Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH employs around 300 people.

The past season

The 2023/24 season marked a historic chapter for Bayer 04. The works club was crowned German champions for the first time in the club's history, won the DFB Cup again after 1993 and reached a European final for the third time after winning the UEFA Cup in 1988 and the Champions League final in 2002. These successes came in the year of the club's 120th anniversary and lent additional splendor to this special occasion.
